Switch

Rafael Morgan Industrial Design has created rotative light switch designs that graphically represent energy waste using common positive/negative symbols.
I think these are super clever in that they encourage you to actually think about the power you're using each time you flip the switch, and are still a great, aesthetically pleasing design.

Rafael Morgan has heaps of other great products and ideas on his website, from lighting to furniture and other fun objects.

Hey Hayon!

Jaime Hayon, of Hayon Studio, is a Spanish designer, and one of my favorites. His works spans from product design to exhibition spaces and interiors. A lot of his work is a sleek contemporary take on Louis XVI style and uses bold, block colors.
If you complied all his interiors you'd end up with a rough idea of what my hypothetical dream house will look like.

One of my favorite pieces by Hayon is Swarovski Sparkle Shady, a flexible, versatile light feature with a skin encrusted with Swarovski crystals, allowing it to sparkle and shine even when not lit.
