I find the idea of jewelry really facinating because it serves no purpose what so ever, other than to display wealth and taste. Clothes, whilst some are more luxurious than others, serve the base purpose of protecting us from the elements, bags hold things, shoes protect our feet, whilst jewelry is a completely unnecessary item. I think that's what makes it so wonderful.
