Crystals Are a Girl's Best Friend

More crystally jewelery goodness in the form of Dara Ettinger's latest collection. The crystals look as though they have eroded or been eaten away setting this collection apart from the many crystal other crystal lines out at the moment. The rich blues and purples are my favorite.

Dara Ettinger available at Max and Chloe.

Eeeeeeeee!

The title of this post may hint at my excitement. Excitement for a present I will be receiving this Christmas. The Atelier Swarovski Christopher Kane Beetle Ring!
My mother has been ever obliging and bought me this ring, though she is making me wait until Christmas to be able to wear it. I ADORE Christopher Kane and am beyond ecstatic to be owning something he designed in the very near future. Eeeeeeeeee!!!

I would also like the rest of the range, but that could be pushing it.

Watch This Space

Great modern watches from Nixon. The whole range is fantastic, a contemporary take on classic shapes and minimalist styles. I especially like the monotone versions. And the best news is they average around US$150 which is super right now considering the state of the AU$.

Diamond's Are Forever.

I am desperate for diamonds. The longing is palpable.
I want heaps of them! Millions! Crystal clear and rainbow coloured! Huge obnoxious diamonds are what I want.

Dannijo Finely Earring in Ice

Vintage 1960's Necklace

Alexis Bittar Montauk Hinge Bracelet

Frangos Green Cluster Ring

One of a Kind Lulu Frost Deco Collage Necklace

One of a Kind Lulu Frost Art Deco Earrings
(All available at Charm & Chain.)

Tom Binns Faux Real Multicolor Necklace

Christopher Kane for Atelier Swarovski Beetle Necklace
(Both available at Luisaviaroma)

I find the idea of jewelry really facinating because it serves no purpose what so ever, other than to display wealth and taste. Clothes, whilst some are more luxurious than others, serve the base purpose of protecting us from the elements, bags hold things, shoes protect our feet, whilst jewelry is a completely unnecessary item. I think that's what makes it so wonderful.

With Rings on My Fingers and Rings on My Toes..

Rings are my favorite type of jewelry, especially ridiculously large and shiny ones, I'm like a magpie.
Here is a jewelry label that is mindblowingly beautiful.
Billy Bride is a label created by Renee Warne, a Sydney based jewelry designer. Billy Bride rings are all hand crafted and totally unique, each is made from a piece of crystal which has been naturally formed over years by the earth, so you are guaranteed no one will have one the same. Rings are available to buy on Billy Bride's site or commissions are available. Billy Bride also has a blog full of inspiration images which is lovely.
